IN VALSESIA

Nestled in the heart of the Piedmont Alps, at the foot of Monte Rosa , Valsesia is a wild, authentic, and powerful territory, shaped over the centuries by water and rock. Here, technical and continuous streams originate, fed by glaciers and snowfields, which for decades have made the valley an international destination for whitewater kayaking .

During the spring and summer , Valsesia welcomes paddlers from around the world, drawn by the extraordinary variety of its rivers , the quality of its water, and the unique character of its gorges. Starting this year, however, the valley also becomes the stage for a special event , a competition that draws the best paddlers in the discipline, ready to face challenging rapids, precise lines, and an environment that leaves no room for improvisation .

The race is the heart of a broader experience, which goes beyond the competition: days of sharing , kayak and packraft meetings, stands selling local food and technical materials , exploration and river life, with endless possibilities for paddling on legendary waters .

A true outdoor Hot Spot

Throughout the spring-summer season, Valsesia is a fantastic hot spot for descending numerous streams, with difficulties ranging from easy to class V , making the valley ideal for both those seeking extreme adventure and those wishing to improve their technique.

But water isn't the only protagonist. The valley offers:

  • Magnificent trails for trekking and trail running

  • Bike and mountain bike trails immersed in nature

  • It is one of the most popular places in Italy for fly fishing , also thanks to the historic and renowned Valsesian technique
