The Boss of Valsesia is a
international extreme kayak competition to be held from 8 to 10 May 2026 in Valsesia.
The event attracts the top paddlers in the world ranking, Official Team athletes
coming from 25 nations.
VALSESIA will be filled with
hundreds of kayakers from all over
Europe and the World.
The race will take place on Saturday 9 May between the municipalities of Scopello,
Scopa and Balmuccia, with the final in the iconic gorges of the Sermenza stream

IN VALSESIA
Nestled in the heart of the Alps, Valsesia is a wild and authentic territory shaped by water and rock. Powerful, technical streams originate here, fed by glaciers and snowfields, making the valley an international destination for whitewater kayaking for decades.
During the spring and summer, Valsesia welcomes paddlers from around the world, drawn by the variety of its rivers and the unique character of its gorges. This year, however, the valley becomes the stage for a special event: a competition that draws the best paddlers, ready to compete against challenging rapids, precise lines, and an environment that leaves no room for improvisation.
The race is the heart of a complete experience, which goes beyond the competition: days of sharing, kayak and packraft meetings, stands selling food and technical materials, exploration and river life, with endless opportunities to paddle on legendary waters.

WHERE TO SLEEP
Throughout the event it will be possible to sleep for free in the tent and van space made available by Monrosa Rafting , in Balmuccia .
It is a simple and functional area, designed for participants, immersed in nature and a few minutes from the river stretches.
For those who want more comfortable accommodation, it is possible to choose to sleep at the Valsesia Hostel or at the Foresteria in the municipality of Cerva in the Semenza gorges
The property offers shared and private rooms and is an ideal solution for groups and athletes.
